The digital assistant rivalry still seems to be pretty
tight, with Microsoft recently updating the Cortana app for Android devices to
compete with Google Assistant. In this update, Microsoft said if this update is
the "biggest change" that brings improvements and important features.
Then what changes have Cortana version 2.9.4 just released in the Play Store?
For the first, Cortana users can now create a list of items
and edit the list of new items on Android devices. In addition, users will also
get smart suggestions that will help users to do things faster and easier.
The latest version of Cortana can now load things about the
latest news and activities to do based on pre-made notes. In addition, current
users can easily sign in or sign up because Microsoft has added an option to
sign up using a phone number.
Another small tweak concerns the chit-chat button, which now
only takes one tap only. Additionally no less important, Microsoft has now
added personalized help & tips for the latest version of Cortana Android
app, making it easier for users to understand how to use Cortana applications.
